Cape Town - New Proteas fast bowling sensation, Lungi Ngidi, will have his parents in the stands when he plays his second Test for the Proteas against India starting at the Wanderers on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old made headlines when he claimed match figures of 7-90 on debut against India in Centurion last week.

His 6-39 in the second innings enabled the Proteas to win by 135 runs and wrap up the three-Test series with a match to spare.

Ngidi plays his domestic cricket for the Centurion-based Titans, but hails from a humble background, growing up in KwaZulu-Natal.

Ngidi took to Twitter on Tuesday to express his delight at having his parents join him in Johannesburg for the first time.
