Phoenix Fire: 2 women struck by truck, hospitalized in critical condition

PHOENIX - Phoenix Fire and rescue crews responded to reports of people down in the roadway near 37th Street and Thomas Road Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials say a 56-year-old woman and a 60-year-old woman have been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle just before 5 p.m.
Phoenix police are on scene, and investigating the cause of the crash.
