Khusoma (37), a resident of Kawnkhaw hamlet near the Myanmar border in Lawngtlai district was severely injured by the landmine on January 18 and she succumbed to her injuries on January 19. Another person Jitua Tongchongya was seriously injured in a landmine blast near Mizoram-Myanmar border pillar number two on January 15.
