Global Indian International School (GIIS) has announced a fully financed annual scholarship programme of approximately Rs 4.3 crore across all its campuses and Indian schools. The scholarship programme, in its 9th year, will give 10 Indian students the opportunity to learn at the state-of-the-art GIIS Singapore campus. The scholarship is offered to students who have cleared Class X with strong academic and co-curricular credentials and are ready to pursue either a Junior College in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme or a Senior Secondary in the CBSE Board at GIIS campus in Singapore.
Eligibility: The selection procedure involves written tests on general ability, Mathematics and English. The students who qualify in the first round will be interviewed via Skype. Students selected for the final round will be called for a face-to-face interview. GIIS will conduct tests across India including- Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Indore, Noida, Surat, Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata.

The University of Sheffield, UK is offering competitive scholarships to students from India. Indian students can apply for the 50% Merit scholarship which are available to undergraduate students starting their studies in 2018. Students can apply for the five International Merit UG Scholarships after receiving a conditional or unconditional offer from the University of Sheffield.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a national or permanently domiciled in India. Must have applied for and been offered a study place at the University of Sheffield to be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship application is a separate online process to applying for a course. A link to the online scholarship application will be sent by email to all eligible students from January onwards. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the supporting statement. The final decision will be made by an academic panel. You must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes.
