Man bites police dog, police dog bites back

A man in New Hampshire, US, has been charged with resisting arrest - and biting a police dog.

According to AP, the man tried to evade arrest by hiding under a pile of clothes.

He was found and managed to put the police dog on a chokehold and bite the animal on the head.

The dog also reportedly bit the man during the fight.

The incident reportedly happened while police were responding to a shooting on Sunday in the small town of Boscawen.

The police dog, Veda, was seen by a vet and has been cleared to return to his police duties.
