An Additional Director General (ADG) rank officer, Brij Raj Meena, posted as incharge of Bareilly zone, reportedly suffered a heart attack on Monday morning. He was rushed to a hospital where his condition was stable.
Reports said that Meena, who feel uneasiness and complained of pain in chest, were rushed to Mission Hospital in Bareilly and admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)), on Monday morning. The doctors who attended on him claimed that he received a cardiac attach and that there was slight improvement in his condition. He would be kept under close observation for 48 hours. The 1988-batch IPS officer took over as the ADG of Bareilly zone, after the state government decided to take services of senior officers in zone and ranges and posted ADG in the zones and IG in the ranges in May last.
