Want to be on HGTV’s ‘House Hunters’? It’s coming to Raleigh and looking for homebuyers.

You know those annoying couples on “House Hunters” who want marble countertops, a two-car garage, a big back yard, a home office and completely remodeled bathrooms – all close to downtown – with a budget of under $200,000?

Well, that could be you.

The HGTV series “House Hunters” is currently recruiting Raleigh homebuyers for upcoming episodes of Season 2 of the “House Hunters Family” version of the show.

Local realtor Molly Bonis of Bonis Realty Group says she’s excited to be helping HGTV with the search. “The Raleigh market is the perfect place for the show, and I can’t wait to see which family will be featured.”

Are you right for the show?

HGTV wants “outgoing families who are passionate about their search for a new home” and more specifically: “families with fun, opinionated personalities and interesting stories. Ideal candidates should have children between the ages of 7 and 15. If your kids are excited and opinionated about your move, we want to meet the whole family!”

The show takes viewers behind the scenes as the family goes house hunting and decides which home to buy. There are numerous versions of the show, including “House Hunters International” and “Tiny House Hunters.”

Other casting locations for Season 2 are Alburquerque, N.M.; Austin, Tx; Houston; Jacksonville, Fla.; Nashville, Tenn.; Orlando, Fla.; Salt Lake City, Utah; and in Southern California.
