Notre Dame promoted Jeff Quinn to offensive line coach, replacing Harry Hiestand, who went to the NFL's Chicago Bears.

Quinn is entering his fourth season with the Irish and has served in a variety of roles, most recently as a senior offensive analyst.

He was previously the head coach at Buffalo (2010-14) and offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Cincinnati (2007-09). He was also part of Irish coach Brian Kelly's staff at Central Michigan (2004-06).

Quinn was also a graduate assistant at DePauw in 1984 and '85.

"He has an accomplished track record of not only identifying but also developing outstanding offensive linemen," Kelly said in a statement from the program. "Jeff also understands the high standard of offensive line play at Notre Dame, having been part of the offensive staff the last few years. He will continue to develop the culture necessary to produce college football’s top offensive line.”
