This was reflected in day's maximum temperature of Patna and Gaya which recorded 26.6 and 25.3 degrees Celsius respectively, three degrees above their normal maximum, the bulletin said. Bhagalpur registered 23.6 degrees as its maximum while Purnea recorded 23.2 degrees Celsius, it said. Gaya and Bhagalpur recorded 6 degrees Celsius below their normal minimum temperatures respectively, a Met official said adding that the minimum temperature is expected to rise in coming days.
