Kodiak says 'Thanks' on Facebook after quake

Officials in Kodiak, Alaska thanked residents for a controlled evacuation in a Facebook post after a 7.9 earthquake occurred about 170 miles southeast of Kodiak Island. A tsunami warning was issued early Tuesday, but later cancelled. (Jan. 23) AP
