Rajasthan vs Karnataka, Kolkata

Deepak Chahar ran through the Karnataka line-up to pick a devastating five-wicket haul and help Rajasthan defend their total of 160 for 8, which they got to courtesy a half-century from opener Ankit Lamba. Karnataka managed to keep Rajasthan down to a chaseable total as Sreenath Aravind (3 for 25) and Vinay Kumar (2 for 29) put in good performances. Karnataka however, were rattled by Chahar, with each of their top-six batter getting out for a single-digit score. Joshi reignited Karnataka's hopes with a 45-ball 73, but they didn't couldn't go far enough.

Brief Scores: Rajasthan 160/8 in 20 overs (Ankit Lamba 58; Sreenath Aravind 3-25) beat Karnataka 138 in 20 overs (Anirudha Joshi 73*; Deepak Chahar 5-15) by 22 runs

Delhi vs Bengal, Kolkata

Dhruv Shorey (84 off 46) scored his second successive half-century in the tournament, but it proved to be just about insufficient as Bengal edged Delhi by three runs. A 34-ball 51 from Bengal No.3 Sudip Chatterjee laid the platform for Bengal's 170, as Delhi pace duo of Pradeep Sangwan and Kulwant Khejroliya picked two wickets each. Bengal dismissed Gautam Gambhir and Rishabh Pant cheaply, before an 88-run stand between Shorey and Lalit Yadav ensued. But Shorey's dismissal in the 18th over triggered a collapse. In the end, Delhi fell short by just three runs.

Brief Scores: Bengal 170/6 (Sudip Chatterjee 51; Kulwant Khejroliya 2-25, Pradeep Sangwan 2-27) beat Delhi 167/8 in 20 overs (Dhruv Shorey 84, Lalit Yadav 45; Sayan Ghosh 3-24, Kanishk Seth 3-25) by 3 runs

Uttar Pradesh vs Tamil Nadu, Kolkata

Suresh Raina's 41-ball 61 went in vain as Tamil Nadu completed a successful run chase after Uttar Pradesh posted 162 for 4 in 20 overs. Opting to bat first, UP lost Samarth Singh early, but Shivam Choudhary gave Raina company in a 70-run parnership. Akshdeep Nath forged a 53-run stand with Raina to help UP post a challenging total. Tamil Nadu made a flying start as Bharat Shankar blazed away, before Yadav took over the baton of demolishing the bowling. Tamil Nadu lost five wickets but were never off-course and completed the chase in the 18th over.

Brief Scores: Uttar Pradesh 162/4 in 20 overs (Suresh Raina 61; Washington Sundar 2-32) lost to Tamil Nadu 163/5 in 19.2 overs (Sanjay Yadav 52; Mohsin Khan 2-20) by 5 wickets
