Tony Gregorich, Field Engineer, with American Civil Constructors, was back to provide a new update to the Lamar City Council on the Main St. construction project during the Jan. 22 meeting.

 

The field engineer said that after meeting with CDOT, the next section to work on will be from Beech St. to Oak.

 

“So as soon as we get completed with Park to Oak, which is probably the beginning of February, we’re gonna tackle the downtown Lamar section,” said Gregorich. He noted they would start with the water line on the south side of the railroad tracks, on the south side of Beech, which is the transition section, according to the engineer.

 

Gregorich said they will begin the work on the west side of Main St. then switch to the east side.
