Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo sported a black eye and stitches during training after picking up a nasty injury in Los Blancos' last game at the weekend.
The 32-year-old took a boot to the head from Deportivo La Coruna ace Fabian Schar, leaving cuts on his face, and had to leave the game.
He returned to action with his team-mates in training – although there were visible signs of damage including scars around his left eye.
Ronaldo scored twice during the 7-1 win on Sunday and is not expected to miss any more game time.
