That is according to BBC pundit Garth Crooks who considers the Leicester star to be a top-class player who should be competing for a top-four team.
The Algeria international has greatly improved his form ever since Claude Puel took over at the King Power Stadium and his performances look identical to those which led the Foxes to a shock Premier League triumph two years ago.
The winger has been linked with a move to the Gunners, Chelsea and Liverpool but Arsene Wenger’s side would be the best fit, according to Crooks.
The ex-Spurs star said: “Since the Frenchman (Puel) arrived at King Power Stadium, the form of Mahrez has been impressive and sparked considerable talk about a possible move to Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal.

“However, with Alexis Sanchez now loading Manchester United's postcode into his sat-nav, I think the Gunners might be Mahrez's best option.
“He won't, of course, be the first player to have played for a move, if that is the real reason for his spike in form, and certainly won't be the last.
“Whatever the reason, the point is he is a top-class player and should be playing with a top-four team.
“Puel knows it's only a matter of time.”
Mahrez joined Leicester in 2014 from Le Havre and has since made 165 appearances for the Foxes.
