A Spartanburg woman called her mom immediately after winning $250,000 on a scratch-off lottery ticket.
The woman purchased the ticket at Corner Stop #101 in Spartanburg, according to a statement from the South Carolina Education Lottery.
When asked what she intended to do with the winnings, the woman said, “I’m going to bless my family,” the statement said.
One top prize of $250,000 remains in the $10 Red Riches game, at odds of 1 in 660,000.
For selling the claimed ticket, Corner Stop #101 received a commission of $2,500, according to the statement.
