Swiss provider InterGGA, an association of municipalities in the North-West of Switzerland, announced new rules of cooperation, with retroactive effect from 1 January 2017. The new contract regulates the cooperation of the partners in the areas of basic TV offer, additional services such as internet, landline and mobile telephony, time-shifted TV and pay-TV, as well as network development.

The new rules have become necessary, as the business model of InterGGA has fundamentally changed with the transformation into Quickline and the product range has expanded, the group said. In essence, the new contract builds on the previous one. It also regulates the new customer relations and generally clarifies the responsibilities.

In addition, the local networks receive, retroactively from 2017, an increased network user charge and more decision-making power. Contract period and notice period remain unchanged compared to the previous contract.
