The Delaware State Police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired at a Rodney Village home early Saturday.
Division spokeswoman Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe said the incident took place at 2:32 a.m. Jan. 20 in the 200 block of David Hall Road.
Two people in the home, an 83-year-old woman, and her 53-year-old son were asleep when they were awakened by loud banging noises and the sound of breaking glass.
They found two shots had been fired at their home; one went through a window pane and lodged in a recliner; the other entered near the front door and was found embedded in a wood stove.
Neither individual was hurt and there are no suspects, Jaffe said.
