Dakota girls beat shorthanded Pearl City 52-40

Dakota topped Pearl City on Monday 52-40 behind Ellie Packer and Tabytha Toelke, who each scored 18 points. The injury-depleted Wolves kept it close, but the Indians were able to pull away in the second half. Tia Clark had 11 points for Pearl City.

Stockton 61, Polo 30

Stockton’s Aspyn Stewart scored 20 points, including four three-pointers, to lead the Blackhawks. Polo was unable to keep pace with the nine Stockton players who scored. Alex Dusing led the way for the Marcos with 13 points.

Winnebago 56, Rockford Christian 25

Winnebago’s defense held Rockford Christian to 10 points in the second half as they cruised to victory on Monday night. Noelle Lavery was the only Royal Lion to score in double digits with 10 points.

Eastland 66, Milledgeville 42

Eastland led by 16 at the half and maintained control of the game. Lydia Coatney scored 23 to lead the Cougars and Erin Henze added 17. Rebecca Waite had 16 for the Missiles.

East Dubuque 72, West Carroll 47

West Carroll didn’t muster much offense until the second half, and by then East Dubuque was out of reach. A 38-point first half for the Warriors was enough to shut the door on the Thunder.

Aquin 59, Orangeville 30

Abby Barr had an outstanding night for Aquin, going 7-for-12 from the field and ending the night with 17 points. The Bulldogs held Orangeville to just 3 points in the third quarter. Orangeville simply could not find a bucket, shooting just 22 percent on the night. Emma Baker had 15 points for the Broncos.

River Ridge 69, Benton 58

River Ridge was able to keep Benton at bay in the second half to secure the victory. Nick Parr and Trey Thomas led the way with a combined 25 points.
