MANILA, Philippines — More than 100 fights featuring the aces of the country’s leading cocker-breeders are on tap in tonight’s National Cockers Alliance 6-cock derby at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Hosted by Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, the event has drawn the participation of the likes of Charlie Ang, Patrick Antonio, Bong Pineda, Marvin Rillo, Dori Du, AlexTy, Ricky Castillo, Ed Miranda, Mayor Diaz and Raymond dela Cruz along with Gov. Ito Ynares, Ang, Patrick Antonio, Efren Canlas, Pipo Soliman, Eric dela Rosa, Paul Estrellado, Mayor Elan Nagaño; Atty.Herminihildo Capuchino, Firefly Group, Remy Medrano, James Uy, Ador Pleyto and Boyet Legaspi, Jun Sevilla, Femmy Medina, Jun Topacio, Tony Marfori, Jimafer, Fiscal Villanueva, Gov. Claude Bautista, Jerry Teves, Harold Ramos, Manny and Arman Santos, Edwin Tose, E. Santos, Ricky Magtoto and Rene Medina.
Meanwhile, two shared top honors in the just-concluded NCA World Championship Derby as Ang’s AA Vikings and Bautista’s CPB RB scored eight points apiece.
AA Vikings bested the entries of 419 Dayang-dayang, 114 RT Phoenix, CJ and Lucky Chances, while CPB RB toppled SCCA Mar 9 5-cock Bday Derby Santiago City, Calasangan Hills, 419 Dayang-dayang and SAP.
