DTE Energy's online power outage map is showing the power is back on for people near Brown City.
About 1,300 residents around Brown City on the border of Sanilac and Lapeer counties lost power at about 8:30 p.m. Monday because of a reported equipment problem.
The affected area included Brown City, Melvin and parts of surrounding townships, including Lynn and Maple Valley townships in Sanilac County and Burnside Township in Lapeer County.
The only local outage shown at 8 a.m. was a single customer in Clyde Township.
