Steve McDonald (played by Simon Gregson) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) get the shock of their lives when they get to the bottom of the mystery.

Amy (Ellie Mulvaney) has been lying about her whereabouts, but it doesn’t take the duo long to suss her out.

When Steve goes to the cinema to pick his up his teenage daughter, he’s surprised to find she isn’t there.

He and Tracy do some digging to find out that Amy is in fact at a house party.

They head to the gathering and are stunned when they find Amy kissing a boy in the kitchen.

The 13-year-old is absolutely mortified when her parents drag her out, and blames her behaviour on them for taking her phone away.

Newly released pictures from ITV show the pair embracing before Steve and Tracy arrive open-mouthed when they see what Amy has been up to.

When they find out they’ve been rumbled, the aghast lovebirds jump apart.

The rest of the young revellers look on at the very embarrassing situation where Amy is left red-faced.

The scenes are set to air on February 2.  

This isn’t the first time Amy has caused alarm for Steve and Tracy as she has routinely found herself getting into trouble with her cousin, Simon (Alex Bain).

Last year saw Simon force Summer Spellman (Matilda Freeman) to smoke some cigarettes he had found.

However, it turned out that Summer had in fact smoked spice and was left unconscious.

Amy, along with Simon, found the girl and quickly took her to hospital.

The two had to come clean about Simon’s involvement when Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) and Torah Battersby (Georgia Taylor), pressed them for information.
