Sea water at Kappad beach in Kozhikode suddenly receded by around 100-200 metres, sparking fears of a tsunami on Friday.

ANCHORAGE (ALASKA): A 8.2 magnitude earthquake was reported 175 miles southeast of Kodiak in Alaska, trigerring a tsunami warning. More details are awaited.
