One down ... any to go?
Remove the Giants from any further consideration of teams to which the Yankees could trade Jacoby Ellsbury.
Why? Well ...
Sources: Austin Jackson to giants. 6M, 2 Years. Elevators coukd take it to 8.5M.

While Ellsbury-to-Giants always seemed like a long shot, so has every other team to whom the 34-year-old center fielder has been connected.
The Yankees still owe Ellsbury $68 million over the next three years. That's at about $21 million a season plus a $5 million buyout. Ellsbury also holds a full no-trade clause.
Ellsbury went into the offseason a bench player for the Yankees, who gave his job to Aaron Hicks in the playoffs. He became their fifth outfielder when they acquired reigning American League MVP Giancarlo Stanton from the Marlins.
Ellsbury had been linked to the Giants for several reasons. At the start of the offseason, they appeared to need two outfielders. Since then they have acquired Andrew McCutchen from the Pirates and signed Jackson.
Also, it's believed that Ellsbury's preference -- if he were to waive his no-trade -- would be to be sent to a team that either hosts spring training in Arizona, where he has a home, or the Diamondbacks themselves. The Giants host spring training in Arizona.
Ellsbury grew up on the West Coast, though since he was raised in Oregon, he wouldn't exactly been near his hometown or anything.
The Yankees have spoken to clubs, including Arizona, about Ellsbury. There hasn't been any indication they have gotten anywhere in talks with clubs for him.
