They have edged out Spanish giants Real Madrid to the title of richest club.
United retained top spot in Deloitte’s 2016/17 Football Money League with revenue of £581million.
Real increased their revenue by £47m but had to settle for second with Barcelona third on £557m.
A total of 10 English clubs feature in the world’s top 20 thanks to the Premier League’s £5bn telly deals.
“The Deloitte Football Money League has a particularly English feel”
Tim Bridge
United banked £39m from Europa League success last season.
Dan Jones, partner in the Sports Business Group at Deloitte, said: “United’s ability to retain first position is all the more impressive against the backdrop of the weakened pound against the Euro.”
Also in the top 20 are Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Leicester City, West Ham, Southampton and Everton.
Tim Bridge, from Deloitte, added: “The Deloitte Football Money League has a particularly English feel this year.
“And with the new broadcast deal and UEFA competition performance driving broadcast revenue growth of over half a billion pounds for those in the top 20, it doesn’t come as a surprise.”
