BOWLING GREEN — Randy L. Roach, age 61, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Heartland of Waterville surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 19, 1956 in Bowling Green to Richard R. “Babe” & Audrie B. (Rose) Roach. Randy married Donna Doolittle on October 26, 1974, at the First United Brethren Church in Findlay, Ohio.
Surviving Randy are his loving wife of 43 years, Donna; mother, Audrie; sons, Brian (Amanda) Roach, Matthew (Audra) Roach, Jason (Brittany) Roach; sister, Jill Roach; 1 granddaughter, and 2 step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard “Babe” Roach; and infant son, Michael.
Randy was a 1974 graduate of North Baltimore High School, and Penta Career Center, where he completed their Carpentry Program. After high school, Randy worked as a Carpenter at Bowling Green State University for 31½ years, and after retiring he enjoyed spending time in his own shop working on finish carpentry. He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Brethren Church near Wayne, the Portage Holiness Camp, a member of the Wood County Committee on Aging, and very involved with the Alzheimer’s Association Northwest Ohio Chapter located in Toledo.
Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Mt. Zion United Brethren Church near Wayne. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 10-11 a.m. at Mt. Zion U.B. Church, where a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Mark E. Ralph officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery, and immediately following a bereavement luncheon will be held inside the Mt. Zion Church Family Life Center.
