Rostelecom doubles GPON coverage in Lipetsk in 2017

Russian national operator Rostelecom expanded the coverage of its fibre-optic network in the Lipetsk region in 2017 to 17,000 more households in the cities and towns of Lipetsk, Gryazi and Usman, as well as in small settlements. A total of 36,000 households are covered by the GPON network of the operator in the region.

The operator also announced that its IPTV subscriber base grew by 11,000 in the Rostov region in 2017, to a total of 20,000.
