ITV favourites’ Ant & Dec have allegedly got the BBC in their sights for a new comedy roast.
The Saturday night staples are reportedly going to mock some of the not-so-successful show offerings by the Beebs in their latest TV joke.
Whilst BBC’s Strictly has managed to rake in huge viewing figures, other Saturday night programmes haven’t seen such storming success with shows such as Pitch Battle pulling in just 2.9 million viewers for its opening episode.

And if claims are correct, the BBC’s less-successful Saturday TV offerings will be at the centre of Ant and Dec’s latest sketch.
The Sun’s Bizarre column reported that in a new Saturday Night Takeaway sketch called The Honoured, the opening scenes will see Ant & Dec mock the BBC for the whodunnit-style segment.
The publication claimed that the pair will walk past numerous cobwebs littered around a deserted warehouse, which will be signposted: “BBC’s Light Entertainment Department.”

It is reported that Holly Willoughby, Olly Murs and Katie Price are just some of the celebrity names who will all appear in the latest comedy sketch.
A TV insider revealed: “The boy's whodunnit sketches are a really close guarded secret.
“But they always manage to milk their contact books and get the cream of the of the industry to appear in them.

“Ant and Dec are known for being cheeky crappies but this will definitely wind up the BBC.”
"The Beebs has to admit some of their entertainment offerings the past few years have not been great."
The much-awaited new Saturday Night Takeaway series will return to ITV next month and follow on from the Crown Jewels episode last year, where the cheeky chappies had to track down who nabbed the famous jewels.
