A boil water notice in Chambers County has been lifted. The notice had been put out by the Trinity Bay Conservation District Friday in response to pipes thawing out from the winter storm that hit the area last week. The TBCD said that the district continues to have a higher than normal water demand and is continuing to ask people to conserve water.
The TBCD had said that parts of the county were experiencing low water pressure due to people running water to prevent their pipes from breaking in the cold weather. This plus pipes actually breaking resulted in low water pressure.
