LIMA — A Lima man pleaded not guilty during his arraignment appearance Friday in Allen County Common Pleas Court to charges of the illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material or performance, a second-degree felony, and 14 counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor, all fourth-degree felonies.
Todd Neu, 54, was ordered held on $500,000 bond following his not-guilty pleas.
According to court documents, the charge of illegal use of a minor in a nudity-oriented material stems from an incident or incidents that allegedly took place in Allen County in 2001-2002, during which time Neu reportedly “did create, produce or transfer material or performances that show a minor in a state of nudity.” The pandering charges are related to alleged incidents that took place in 2015 during which material was produced showing a minor participating in sexual activity.
Neu is scheduled to appear in Allen County Common Pleas Court on Jan. 30 for a pre-trial hearing.
