Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals has initiated various safety measures following leakage reported on 15 January 2018 at the TDI Plant, Dahej.1.
Taking the help of Director of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) for plant Inspection and considering their suggestions.
2. Committee formation of senior technical executives for monitoring all critical shutdown activities to ensure smooth start up and taking their recommendations for startup of the plant.
3.Lining up the various preventive maintenance and safety precautions like critical component replacement, increasing the safety tolerance after certifying equipment / critical components as Fit For Service (FFS) by third party inspection agency.
With various safety precautions as enlisted above, plant is put back in operation on 23 January, 2018.
