The Chesnee Eagles hold the top ranking in the 2A classification in the South Carolina Baseball Coaches Association’s preseason poll.

In addition to the Eagles in the top perch, Region I-2A rival Landrum is ranked No. 5 in the 2A poll.

In 5A, Region III-5A teams Dorman and Boiling Springs hold the Nos. 7 and No. 8 spots, respectively. Northwestern is the top team in the 5A poll.

In 3A, Chapman is ranked No. 5, just ahead of Region III-3A foe Woodruff at No. 6. Bishop England is the top-ranked 3A team.

A.C. Flora leads the 4A rankings, with Lewisville atop the 1A poll.
