Saif Powertec 3rd Division Football League, organsied by Dhaka Metropolis Football Committee, gets underway at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur today after a two-year gap.
A total of 19 clubs, split into two groups, will play in round-robin format matches before the top five advance into a 10-team Super League.
At the end of the Super League, the top five teams will qualify for next season's 2nd Division League while the bottom team from each group in the preliminary round will be relegated to the Pioneer League.
