Police looking for two suspects in robbery, assault

Toronto Police have released security images of two suspects in the incident, which occurred on Dec. 30.

Police describe the female suspect as 25 to 35, 5’7”, with a stocky build, and long blonde/brown hair and the male suspect as 25-27, with an average build. He has brown eyes, and black hair worn in a bun.

Toronto Police say they are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in a theft and assault investigation.

The victim was in a restaurant near Spadina Ave. and College St. on Dec. 30 around 11:55 p.m., when he noticed that a man and woman who had also been in the restaurant had left, allegedly taking the victim’s bag with them.

The man left the restaurant and confronted the two suspects. The suspects then allegedly assaulted the man, who was left with “major injuries to his face,” police say.

The male suspect is described as being between the ages of 25 and 27, with an average build. He has brown eyes, and black hair worn in a bun. He was wearing a brown hooded jacket, dark jeans, and carrying a green LCBO bag.

The female suspect is described as being between the ages of 25 and 35, 5’7”, with a stocky build and long blonde/brown hair. She was last seen wearing a long grey winter jacket, dark pants, and black shoes.
