Classes at all levels in both private and public school in the province Albay were suspended Monday following the eruption of Mayon Volcano, Governor Al Francis Bichara said.
In a Facebook announcement, Bichara advised all residents of Albay, especially those in the third district, to stay indoors as the Mayon erupted.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology raised the alert level on Mayon to Level 4 after the volcano blew its top Monday afternoon. /cbb
