A 17-year-old boy is accused of having sex with a child less than 11 years old on Sept. 7.
During a video interview, Kevin Wydick Jr., of Dryden, admitted to sexually abusing the child, in the Village of Dryden, police said.
A Superior Court arrest warrant was issued for Wydick following a sealed indictment, authorities said. Wydick was arrested on charges of felony first-degree criminal sex act, felony third-degree sexual abuse and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.
Wydick was arraigned in Tompkins County Court on those charges and arraigned in Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail, police said.
