Houston police are investigating a drive-by shooting Sunday afternoon outside a grocery store in southeast Houston.

Two people in a car fired shots at two men who were standing in the store's parking lot, hitting one of them in the knee, according to the police.

Police were called to the Payless Super Market at 6901 Martin Luther King Blvd. about 2:30 p.m., where they found the man who had been shot. He was transported to the hospital; the other man was not injured.

Police had no description of the suspects.
