A Detroit man has been arrested after striking a Michigan State Police vehicle at the scene of a rollover accident, officials said.

As troopers were dealing with the accident at about 12:05 a.m. Monday on the Southfield Freeway near McNichols in Detroit, police said a 2000 Ford Taurus traveling southbound on the freeway struck the patrol vehicle and two tow trucks.

Officials said the driver was not impaired, but he had a suspended license and was wanted on an arrest warrant.

No injuries were reported, they said. The motorist was arrested and taken to the Detroit Detention Center, police said.
