Twitter was taken by storm after this as they criticised Ciara for "playing a dangerous game".

Some even pointed out at the turbulent relationship she had with rapper Future (reportedly splitting with her fiance amid rumours of cheating), before Seattle Seahawks player Russell Wilson in 2016.

The 'I Bet' crooner however responded to the backlash, posting a message on Instagram on Sunday that read, "I was one that girl wanting to be loved a certain way bit was making the wrong choices.
