National speaker and author, Larry Thompson, the author of “Roadmap to Responsibility”, hosted a workshop for Crookston School District teachers Friday at Crookston High School in the Commons.

He helped to guide teachers on how to deal with students at different levels using “response-ability, consistency, emotional control, benefits for changing behavior, clear expectations, and leadership in challenging moments.”

During the workshop, Thompson pointed out that teachers can’t “redirect” every student, but that they can use his suggestions on “responsibility-centered discipline.”
