Rainy days ahead for Metro Detroit

This morning’s showers are expected to continue throughout the day with high temperatures hovering 49 degrees. The fog is likely to hang around until 11 a.m. causing visibility to fall to ¼ mile at times. Motorists are urged to use caution this morning and account for variable driving conditions by slowing down and allowing extra time to stop .

Tuesday could see a transition from rain to snow or a wintery mix as morning temperatures are expected to fall from the 40s to the 30s, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be dry days but cooler.
