The former UFC heavyweight champion has been linked with a return to the Octagon for the last few months.

In July, it was alleged that Lesnar had met with the UFC brass to discuss a winter return to the promotion.

That notion was quickly denied by White, who insisted that he's had no contact with Lesnar and that he doesn't expect the South Dakota native ever fight again.

Despite White's comments, rumours of Lesnar returning to the promotion, where he once held the title of pay-per-view king, refuse to go away.

The possibility of Lesnar gracing the cage one last time was put to White this past weekend ahead of the eagerly-anticipated heavyweight bout between Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou.

However, this time around, the UFC’s president gave a completely different answer to the often-asked question.

“I think he’ll give it one more run,” White told AP when asked if there was a possibility of the WWE superstar lacing up his gloves again. 

“I just think Brock loves to fight.”

Lesnar's last outing in the cage took place at UFC 200 and saw him defeat Hunt via unanimous decision.

However, the victory was overturned to a no contest following the news of his failed drug tests, which found traces of the anti-estrogen agent Hydroxy-Clomiphene in his system.

Lesnar was handed a one-year suspension for his anti-doping violation, which ended last July.
