MOST ACCURATE FORECAST: Workweek warm-up on the way
PHOENIX - Keep that sweater handy, we're in for another chilly day across Arizona!
In the wake of our Saturday cold front, temperatures stayed in the 50s for daytime highs across the Valley with the high country struggling to reach numbers above freezing to round out the weekend.
Get ready for a cold night in the Valley with lows dropping down into the mid to upper 30s for most locations.
Some of the outlying areas around town will be close to the freezing mark early Monday morning, so it might be a good idea to cover the sensitive vegetation and to bring the pets indoors.
Daytime highs will take a steady climb back into the low to mid 60s on Monday with temperatures right back into the mid 70s by Wednesday.
Another storm system will track to the north of Arizona late this week bringing some strong winds to northern Arizona and breezes to the Valley by Thursday and Friday. We look to stay dry with system but our temperatures will drop back into the 60s for a couple of days to round out the workweek.
