Attractive and colourful tableaux showcasing the development of the State made on different frontages and over 17 platoons reflecting their charisma are again set to steal the show on Republic Day here at Morhabadi Ground. Presenting the glimpse of modern and developing Jharkhand, this R-Day as many as 12 tableaus of different government departments will enthrall the denizens.
On the other hand, adding on some attractive elements every year to capture the attention of public while imparting important messages, for the first time, women battalion of Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change will participate in the R-Day parade glorifying the dominance of females in every sector. Depicting women empowerment, gut and glory, armed force women wing of Jharkhand Police along with Women Battalion of Forest Department will be the centre of attraction.
This season, the band display of students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Ormanjhi and Mandar is all set to create magic this time again. Along with the regular battalions, students of Raksha Shakti University (RSU) will also be the part of R-Day parade.
With Army, paramilitary forces like Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB), Jharkhand Armed Police (JAP), Home-guard, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Scouts and Guides will be showcasing their strength.
Presenting Jharkhand’s progress, this Republic Day (R-Day), the denizens will gets a glimpse of mixed themes ranging from exotic tribal art work to various ongoing government schemes through tableaus.
The Department of Information and Public Relations, this season, is all set to present a glance of Baba Tanginath Dham, a popular devotional site and archeological heritage. Similarly, presenting the glorious history of tribal revolt during the British colonial rule, the Department of Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affair will showcase the life history of Sidhu Murmu and Kanhu Murmu, the leader of the Santhal rebellion.
Several ongoing schemes and their benefits will be presented during the show. While Jharkhand Renewal Development Agency (JREDA) will showcase the importance of solar energy, the Department of labour will present the significance of Skill Development in uplifting the lives of several people especially the downtrodden.
Meanwhile, the Department of Health and Family Welfare has selected the theme ‘Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojana’ to convey its importance.
Depicting the quintessence of Jharkhand blessed with abundance of forest essentials and natural resources, the Department of Forest, Environment and Climate Change is focusing on employment generated through cottage industries while showing the importance of value added forest goods like LAC, Silk etc.
Also, the recent achievement of the State in attaining the Open Defecation Free (ODF) tag will be showcased; the Department of water and sanitation has selected ODF as a prime theme.
Taking up immunization, malnutrition and ‘Aaganwadi’, the Department of Women, Children and Social Welfare will convey the importance of all these vital issues among the public.
