Lee man accused of shooting son in neck to be arraigned Monday

CHILCOTT

LEE - A man accused of shooting his son in the neck during a domestic violence incident early Saturday morning is being arraigned Monday afternoon at Strafford County Superior Court.

Mark Chilcott, 57, is currently being held without bail at Strafford County Superior Court. He is charged with first-degree assault and reckless conduct involving a firearm.

A .45 caliber pistol was seized at the time of Chilcott's arrest.

Chilcott's son, Trevor, 21, is listed in stable condition at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

NH State Police Major Crimes Unit is assisting Lee police with the investigation.
