Fire destroys 10 shops in Kataragama

A broke out destroying around 10 shops nearby Wadasitikanda in Kataragama, last night (Jan. 21).

Our correspondent said that the shops were completely gutted down.

The fire has started at around 9.30 pm and the area resident had managed to control it from being spread further.

The reason for the fire is yet to be determined and Kataragama Police is investigating the incident.
