GRAND OPENINGS: Marano Animal Hospital; Twin Palms Private Client Group

Marano Animal Hospital has been opened at 363 Jacaranda Blvd. in Venice by Dr. Jason E. Marano.

The full-service, family-owned-and-run medical facility focuses on small animal pets. The 2,800-square-foot office has state-of-the-art medical equipment blended with modern design touches, from a prominent reception desk and overhead facade to a stack stone wall in the reception area.

The hospital has an in-house diagnostic blood laboratory, digital X-ray machines and an ultrasound and surgical suite where routine and more specialized dental and surgical procedures can be performed. All medical records are digital and can be accessed by the pet owners as needed.

"At Marano Animal Hospital, our philosophy is simple: to provide the highest-quality, personalized veterinary care by ensuring that every family receives the most advanced medical treatment, exceptional customer care and possibly most importantly the love and compassion you would expect from your own family," Marano said in a news release.

A coffee bar has hot and cold beverages and complimentary pastries. A kid’s corner includes Kindle Fire tablets, books and magazines. The waiting area also includes a TV and a 75-gallon fish tank.

Hours are: Monday, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Wednesday, 7 to 4 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. to noon.
