The world’s leading sports and fitness brand is making its way to Gainesville, bringing its iconic Swooshes to a new store right off Interstate 75.

Representatives of Celebration Pointe, one of Gainesville’s newest major retail developments, announced Monday morning that Nike Factory Store will be an anchor tenant.

Ralph Conti, a Celebration Pointe development partner, said in a news release that Nike’s addition to the development will not only add to retail offerings but will enrich the overall Celebration Pointe patron experience.

“We are pleased to welcome this iconic retailer to Celebration Pointe,” Conti said.

Nike will join Bass Pro Shops and Regal Cinemas on the development's growing list of high-profile tenants.

Celebration Pointe spokesman Phillip Bergman could not release the store's projected square footage as of Monday morning. A projected opening date was not immediately available.
