The two vehicles collided earlier today on the M58 destroying the car and completely ripping its roof off.
Two women have been rushed to hospital, one of them with serious injuries.
Since the crash this morning, North West Motorway has released images of the devastating aftermath.
A blue car is left totally crumpled with broken glass and debris surrounding the demolished vehicle.

The crash occurred between junction five for Up Holland, West Lancs, and junction 26 of the M6, Orrell Interchange.
Along with the photos, cops said: "Both parties have now gone to hospital."
It forced the closure of the road, which has since reopened, following a clean up operation.
An ambulance spokeswoman said: "We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two vehicles.

"We sent two ambulances, one of our senior clinicians and the air ambulance to the scene.
"We have taken two patients to Aintree University Hospital by road ambulance.
"Both patients are female, one is seriously injured."
