Jaffna woman assaulted to death (Photos) 
Police have launched an investigation to identify the unidentified person/persons who are linked to the murder of a 72-year-old woman in Manipay, Jaffna last night (Jan. 21).
The deceased was living in her home alone, as her children were living in other parts of the country.
Police suspect a thief may have committed the offence.
