Air travelers faced a slow start to the work week thanks to the latest winter storm to disrupt flights.

Most big airlines were waiving rebooking fees for the storm, which was affecting flights in the Midwest on Monday.

Nationwide, more than 380 flights had been canceled and another 320 delayed as of 8:55 a.m. ET, according to flight-tracking service FlightAware. That tally could grow as the storm pushed east into Monday afternoon.

So far, Monday’s hardest-hit airport was Minneapolis/St. Paul, where nearly 200 flights had been canceled as of 8:55 a.m. ET. That accounted about 15% of the entire day’s schedule at the airport, a major hub for Delta Air Lines.

Chicago’s Midway Airport – a busy hub for Southwest – had more than 40 cancellations. FlightAware showed most were on departing flights, with about 10% of Monday’s departures axed.

At Chicago O'Hare, United was waiving rebooking fees for flights at its busy hub there, though disruptions were minor as of early Monday morning.

Disruptions were also being reported Monday at a number of smaller airports across the upper Midwest.

Most big airlines – including the USA’s four biggest – had instituted flexible rebooking policies for flights at a number of airports across the upper Midwest and Great Lakes. (Scroll down for links to the airline waivers)

Monday’s disruptions come after the same storm snarled across a large swath of the central U.S. on Sunday. More than 540 flights were canceled nationwide, including more than 200 in snowy Denver, a hub for United. Dallas/Fort Worth and Chicago Midway were among other major airports that saw above-average cancellations Sunday.

Several airlines had also issued waivers for some Rocky Mountain airports affected by Sunday’s weather. Some of those change-fee waivers extended into Monday.
